In this painting, the play is on perspective, color, volume and form of the figure put against a colorful abstract background. In addition to that, there is an element of texture integrated into the piece with the use of thick paint.

Harvie Brown

Harvie Brown is a native of Florida and a graduate of Georgia State University. He has always had an interest in drawing and painting from since a very early age. He is a self-taught artist, works primarily in oils and would classify his work as representational. After 20 years at Disneyworld in Orlando he decided to relocate to Arizona for inspiration, enlightenment and the pursuit of his love for art in the western, figurative and portraiture genres. He has a deep appreciation for the works of Caravaggio, William A. Bouguereau, John Singer Sargent and Howard Terpning and aspires to the same dedication and excellence in his work.
